Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology, economic, and societal trends to identify transformative opportunities through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans integrating AI, biotech, and quantum computing advancements
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present executive-level forecasts and recommendations to C-suite leadership
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Build and maintain Horizon's proprietary foresight framework and trend database
- Champion ethical innovation practices in all future-facing initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: AGI, synthetic biology, or quantum systems
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex future concepts
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating published future forecasts or implemented innovation initiatives
