Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and market disruptors through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans for 3-5 year futures
- Present trend analysis to executive leadership and board members
- Collaborate with R&D to integrate future-focused innovations into product roadmaps
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author quarterly foresight briefs and annual trend reports
- Champion innovation culture through workshops and thought leadership
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused research
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into business strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend mapping
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Published thought leadership in foresight or innovation publications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on strategic transformation
