Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop future scenario roadmaps for AI, climate tech, and human augmentation domains
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into strategic planning cycles
- Produce high-impact white papers and thought leadership on future technology trends
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype 2026-ready solutions
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists in strategic foresight methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven portfolio of future scenario projects with measurable commercial impact
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex future interactions
- Experience guiding Fortune 500 companies through disruptive transformation
- Published thought leader in futurism or innovation strategy publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from WFS or Foresight Practitioner)
