Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap through multi-year strategic planning
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends with $1B+ market disruption potential
- Translate future scenarios into product roadmaps and investor presentations
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA, and other future-focused institutions
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent with 8+ years of foresight experience
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic risk modeling
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, Harvard Business Review)
- Fluency in at least one predictive modeling language (Python/R) and visualization tools
- Experience advising Fortune 500 C-suite on 5-10 year strategic pivots
