Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year foresight frameworks mapping technological, social, and economic trends through 2030
- Lead moonshot innovation sprints with engineering, design, and data science teams to prototype 2026-viable solutions
- Present strategic futurescapes to executive leadership and board members with actionable implementation roadmaps
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, World Economic Forum, and NASA's innovation ecosystems
- Drive organizational adoption of agile futures methodologies across 12 global divisions
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through compelling innovation ROI models
- Mentor a dedicated futures research team of 5 PhD-level strategists
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futures research with Fortune 500/tech unicorn experience
- Proven track record of launching 3+ market-defining products/services with $100M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and Delphi methodologies
- Advanced degree (PhD/MSc) in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published author in peer-reviewed innovation journals or keynote speaker at Davos/TED
- Proficiency in AI trend analysis tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trendalyzer) and data visualization platforms
- Fluency in strategic frameworks (e.g., Three Horizons, Business Model Canvas, Blue Ocean Strategy)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020-2025 trend predictions with 85%+ accuracy
