Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and societal shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks and prioritize R&D initiatives with 3-5 year horizons
- Lead high-stakes workshops with executive teams to align on future-proof business models
- Design and validate prototype concepts for emerging markets and untapped customer needs
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against strategic foresight goals
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and publish industry-defining whitepapers
- Mentor internal teams in strategic thinking and adaptive innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFPS preferred)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to C-level audiences and global forums
- Portfolio of published thought leadership or implemented innovation roadmaps
- Deep network within futurist, tech, and academic communities
