Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop comprehensive strategic frameworks and scenario models for long-term organizational positioning
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and executive teams to integrate foresight into innovation pipelines
- Produce high-impact deliverables including trend reports, strategic whitepapers, and executive presentations
- Establish thought leadership through industry conferences, publications, and stakeholder engagement
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and technological disruptions to preemptively adapt organizational strategy
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and strategic foresight practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic thinking frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic initiatives implemented at scale
- Experience with futures research methodologies including Delphi, SWOT, and PESTLE analysis
