Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and sociocultural shifts to forecast 2026+ scenarios
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging domains (quantum computing, neurotech, climate resilience)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on future-proofing methodologies
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing into development lifecycles
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting long-term innovation landscapes
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial impact
- Deep expertise in emerging tech (AI, biotech, advanced materials)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in future-focused publications
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Strong communication skills for complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
