Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) and translate insights into strategic frameworks
- Develop scenario-based 5-10 year roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-facing priorities
- Produce quarterly foresight reports with data-driven predictions and risk assessments
- Advise on ethical implications of emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish KPIs for measuring strategic foresight impact
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures or strategy publications
- Experience with foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
