Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socio-economic shifts, and cultural trends to forecast industry landscapes through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps and scenario-planning frameworks for sustainable growth
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities and business opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications and present insights to executive stakeholders
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready principles into innovation pipelines
- Monitor global disruptors and geopolitical factors affecting long-term strategy
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systemic analysis
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, sustainable energy)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Global mindset with cross-cultural communication proficiency
