Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Horizon Reports' identifying disruptive trends across AI, biotech, and sustainable energy sectors
- Partner with C-suite executives to design 5-year strategic roadmaps aligned with projected 2026 market conditions
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for Fortune 500 clients simulating socio-technological futures
- Analyze proprietary data streams from quantum computing and IoT networks to forecast industry tipping points
- Author thought leadership pieces for Forbes, MIT Tech Review, and industry whitepapers
- Mentor a cross-functional team of futurists, data scientists, and innovation architects
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field with 8+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Published portfolio demonstrating accurate predictions for 2020-2025 technological shifts
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and weak-signal analysis methodologies
- Proficiency in AI-driven trend forecasting tools (e.g., Palantir, Gephi)
- Proven track record advising C-suite on exponential technology adoption
- Deep understanding of climate resilience, neurotech, and space economy ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into executable strategies
