Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions relevant to 2026
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for product development and market expansion
- Present actionable insights to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders through compelling visualizations
- Partner with innovation teams to incubate future-focused initiatives and R&D priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and speak at industry conferences on future trends
- Establish foresight frameworks and methodologies across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field with 5+ years of applied foresight experience
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into corporate strategy and innovation initiatives
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategic positioning
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic foresight certifications required
