Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Produce executive-ready reports on disruptive technologies, market shifts, and regulatory changes affecting our industry
- Collaborate with R&D teams to identify and prioritize breakthrough innovations aligned with 2026 market demands
- Design and facilitate stakeholder workshops to align leadership on future scenarios and strategic pivots
- Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics to track progress toward 2026 strategic milestones
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to embed future-thinking into product development and business operations
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (articles, whitepapers, books)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight certification program)
