Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating future insights into actionable business roadmaps
- Establish quantitative forecasting models for emerging technology adoption and market disruption
- Present strategic vision to executive leadership and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government bodies, and innovation hubs
- Design and lead corporate foresight programs to embed future-thinking across all departments
- Produce thought leadership content (whitepapers, speeches, reports) positioning Horizon as a future authority
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or futurism with demonstrable impact on long-term strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, space tech)
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite and external audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic foresight projects with measurable outcomes
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar) preferred
