You'll collaborate with C-suite executives to translate speculative technologies into competitive advantages, ensuring our clients dominate markets before they exist.
Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps incorporating quantum computing, AI governance, and metaverse infrastructure
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging tech paradigms (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-proof digital transformation strategies
- Author thought leadership whitepapers published in IEEE and MIT Technology Review
- Advantage: Build patent portfolios for proprietary future-tech frameworks
- Advantage: Mentor junior futurists in speculative design methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 3+ years in foresight methodologies
- Published author on emerging technologies (Harvard Business Review, Wired)
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend impact analysis
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) for trend forecasting
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for autonomous systems
- PhD or equivalent in complex systems theory preferred
