Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, AGI frameworks, neuro interfaces)
- Analyze global tech policy implications and advise on regulatory compliance for emerging technologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to accelerate innovation
- Present visionary roadmaps to C-suite executives and investors with compelling data-driven narratives
- Monitor horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (synthetic biology, fusion energy, advanced materials)
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of bold experimentation
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 8+ years in strategic technology planning
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI projects preferred)
- Deep expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and technology forecasting frameworks
- Exceptional ability to translate complex scientific concepts into business opportunities
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, etc.)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley research labs and academic institutions
- Prior experience in venture capital or corporate innovation strategy
