Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech integration
- Analyze emerging scientific breakthroughs and regulatory shifts to identify competitive advantages
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align R&D investments with future market demands
- Present strategic visions to investors, partners, and the board with compelling data narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Monitor global tech policy developments and geopolitical tech competition
- Drive adoption of responsible AI frameworks and ethical tech standards
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field
- 12+ years experience in tech innovation, R&D leadership, or strategic consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis capabilities
- Experience advising Fortune 500 CTOs on technology transformation
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (white papers, patents, or industry journals)
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
