Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends to forecast 2026+ market opportunities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and future market demands
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and executive teams to integrate futuristic insights into product development
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and stakeholders with data-driven impact analyses
- Lead innovation workshops and scenario-planning sessions to prepare for disruptive industry shifts
- Monitor global tech policy developments and assess implications for organizational strategy
- Build and maintain relationships with thought leaders, startups, and research institutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused technology strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive analytics
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-oriented projects
