Responsibilities
- Forecast technology adoption curves for 2026-2030 using predictive analytics and trend modeling
- Design strategic roadmaps for integrating quantum AI, neuromorphic chips, and decentralized networks
- Lead 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives identifying breakthrough technologies in climate, biotech, and AR/VR
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI deployment
- Present disruption scenarios to C-suite executives and venture partners quarterly
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for experimental technology prototypes
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Stanford Institute for Human-Centered AI on research initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on future-tech forecasting
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or spatial computing
- Published thought leadership in Nature Futures or IEEE Spectrum (required)
- Proven track record scaling exponential technologies from lab to market
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Systems Engineering, or Computational Physics
- Fluency in Python for trend analysis and scenario modeling
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on technology disruption
- Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems (EU AI Act, US NIST standards)
