Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and maintain the IT helpdesk ticketing system, ensuring all requests are logged, resolved, and tracked efficiently.
- Perform routine system maintenance, including software updates, patch management, and virus scans.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new hardware and peripherals for employees.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets and supplies.
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify trends and improve overall system performance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Information Technology or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Help Desk or Technical Support role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, LogMeIn) and ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
