Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating disruptive technologies
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Establish KPIs for innovation pipeline success and ROI measurement
- Partner with C-suite to integrate innovation into core business strategy
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with agile resource allocation
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy or R&D leadership within tech/biotech
- Proven track record scaling disruptive technologies to market
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Business
- Strong quantitative skills with data-driven decision making
- Experience with AI/ML implementation in product development
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., CMI, PDMA)
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech trends
