As our Lead Futurist, you'll work directly with C-suite executives to identify emerging technologies, develop predictive models for market evolution, and lead cross-functional teams in building next-generation solutions. You'll be instrumental in positioning Nexus as the global leader in ethical AI adoption and sustainable tech innovation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight strategy for AI, robotics, and quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping AI-driven solutions for future market needs
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration models
- Present strategic innovation roadmaps to executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready features into core offerings
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, patents, and industry speaking engagements
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, AI research, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in developing 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in generative AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics
- Published research in AI ethics, human-computer interaction, or future studies
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across R&D, product, and business units
- Strong background in scenario planning and trend impact assessment
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or Futures Studies
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and AI development frameworks
