Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring and medication administration
- Document patient observations and care activities in electronic health records
- Respond to patient call lights and emergency situations with clinical precision
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure coordinated care delivery
- Maintain clean, organized patient areas and medical equipment
- Support admissions/discharge processes during overnight hours
- Participate in shift handovers with detailed reporting protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA certification preferred)
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience or relevant internship
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work 12-hour weekend night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency for EHR systems
