Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas on foot and by vehicle to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
- Monitor and operate security surveillance systems, including CCTV and alarm panels.
- Control access points, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations following established protocols.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and logs for all activities and observations.
- Enforce company policies and local laws to maintain a safe facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and mitigate security risks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid Security Guard License (or ability to obtain one) is highly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods during night shifts.
- Must be available to work weekends, nights, and holidays as required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not mandatory.
