Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitoring during overnight weekend shifts
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and care activities in electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations
- Assist new patients with admission procedures and orientation
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or CNA certification
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (night shift preferred)
- BLS/ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability commitment (Saturdays/Sundays 7PM-7AM)
