Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend night shifts
- Monitor vital signs and document medical records accurately
- Administer medications per physician protocols
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and day-shift teams
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Support patient education and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Current RN or LVN license in Texas
- 1+ years acute care experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Comfortable with night shift schedule (Sat/Sun 10PM-6AM)
- Strong electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during night hours
- Flexibility to cover occasional weekday shifts if needed
