Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during overnight shifts with meticulous attention to safety protocols
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Coordinate care plans with day-shift staff during shift transitions
- Respond to emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Maintain sterile environments and inventory control for medical supplies
Qualifications
- Current Maryland nursing license (LPN or RN) or CNA certification
- Minimum 1 year experience in night shift or critical care environments
- BLS/CPR certification with willingness to obtain ACLS if needed
- Exceptional time management and adaptability to changing priorities
- Strong communication skills for patient/family interactions
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
