Responsibilities
- Oversee 15-20 person night/weekend team during peak operational hours
- Coordinate loading/unloading activities and inventory management
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance
- Resolve operational issues and escalate critical matters
- Prepare shift reports and performance metrics
- Train new staff on equipment and procedures
- Collaborate with day shift managers for seamless transitions
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years shift supervisory experience
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Strong conflict resolution and team leadership abilities
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Available to work nights (10 PM - 6 AM) and weekends
- Forklift certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
