Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical operations during weekend and overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Supervise and mentor 5-8 healthcare staff members during off-peak hours
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and facility protocols
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and emergency responses
- Conduct shift handovers and maintain detailed documentation
- Implement quality improvement initiatives during low-traffic periods
- Manage supply inventory and equipment maintenance schedules
- Act as primary point of contact for after-hours patient inquiries
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in hospital or urgent care setting
- Valid Pennsylvania RN or LPN license (required)
- Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
- Strong decision-making skills during off-hours operations
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts
- BLS certification (required)
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
