Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to all shoppers and address inquiries with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and ensuring merchandise displays are organized and appealing.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process transactions and handle cash with integrity.
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times to maintain a high-quality shopping environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Handle returns and exchanges efficiently while strictly adhering to company policies.
- Monitor product freshness and assist with markdowns as needed to maximize sales.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be available to work weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday shifts.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
- Basic math skills are required for cash handling and price checks.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace is necessary.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs safely.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
