Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise displays to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
- Operate the cash register accurately, processing transactions and handling returns.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to the management team.
- Keep the sales floor, restrooms, and break areas clean and organized.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Basic math skills and comfort with technology (POS systems).
