Responsibilities
- Architect Quantum Algorithms: Design and optimize quantum algorithms for complex machine learning problems, ensuring scalability and efficiency on near-term quantum hardware.
- Hybrid System Integration: Develop hybrid quantum-classical models that leverage the strengths of both classical hardware and emerging quantum processors to solve real-world problems.
- R&D Leadership: Lead research initiatives to explore novel applications of quantum mechanics in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
- Code Optimization: Translate theoretical physics concepts into high-performance Python and C++ code using frameworks like Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers and data scientists to improve hardware-software co-design and integration.
- Technical Strategy: Define the technical roadmap for AI systems that incorporate quantum capabilities.
Qualifications
- Advanced Degree: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Quantum Experience: Proven experience with quantum computing frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PyQuil) and quantum simulation environments.
- AI Expertise: Strong background in classical machine learning, deep neural networks, and data structures.
