Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for AI optimization

- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Publish 4+ peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science annually
- Develop commercial applications from quantum-AI prototypes
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum machine learning
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum processors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science)
- Expertise in Python, Qiskit, and TensorFlow Quantum
- Strong background in tensor networks and quantum error correction
- Proven grant-writing success with federal agencies
- Patents in quantum computing or AI systems
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures
