Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical neural networks
- Author breakthrough research papers for Nature/Science journals
- Architect scalable quantum-AI infrastructure using AWS Braket and IBM Quantum
- Collaborate with DARPA and NSF on national quantum security initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics (postdoc preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow Quantum, and Qiskit frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Track record of securing federal research grants (NSF/DARPA)
- Experience with quantum hardware (IonQ, Rigetti, or D-Wave)
