Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms leveraging near-term quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to develop error-resilient quantum neural networks
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals/conferences (Nature, NeurIPS, etc.)
- Translate theoretical quantum AI models into practical industry applications
- Secure $2M+ in government/private quantum computing grants
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum AI methodologies
- Contribute to open-source quantum AI frameworks (Qiskit, PennyLane)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (VQE, QAOA, Grover's) and quantum error correction
- Proven track record publishing top-tier quantum AI research
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and Python frameworks
- Deep understanding of tensor networks and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ) and cloud quantum platforms
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
