Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum neural network architectures for 2026-era computational paradigms
- Lead experimental validation of quantum-enhanced machine learning models on D-Wave systems
- Collaborate with neuroscientists to model human cognition using quantum algorithms
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $2M+ in DARPA/NIST grants for quantum-AI initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning pathways
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit simulators (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum/AI conferences (NeurIPS, QIP)
- Proficiency in tensor networks and quantum error correction
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models into experimental prototypes
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow Quantum, and high-performance computing
- Clearance for government research collaborations (or eligibility)
