Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning models for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum cryptography and optimization
- Develop quantum neural networks with 10,000+ qubit simulations
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research funding
- Mentor PhD candidates and lead quantum computing workshops
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Published work in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Proven track record of securing research grants
