Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms and error-corrected circuits for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead R&D initiatives in topological qubit stabilization and quantum annealing
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processors operating at millikelvin temperatures
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and speak at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor a team of 5 quantum software engineers and physicists
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum circuit design experience with Qiskit/Cirq
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface/Reed-Muller)
- Published research in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Proficiency in C++/Python for low-level quantum control systems
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in quantum research grants
