Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and pharmaceuticals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing frameworks
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Drive quantum machine learning initiatives for predictive analytics
- Secure patents for novel quantum computational methods
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ-era limitations
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into commercial applications
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
