Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error-correction algorithms achieving 99.9% fidelity in 50+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-classical hybrid computing solutions
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize cryogenic control systems and quantum interconnects
- Architect quantum machine learning frameworks for pharmaceutical discovery acceleration
- Secure patents for novel quantum algorithms and system architectures
- Present breakthrough research at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, PRL)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware and microwave control systems
- Track record of designing scalable quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Strong background in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Ability to secure $2M+ in quantum computing research grants
