Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms and error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum processor integration
- Research and implement quantum machine learning frameworks for real-world applications
- Develop security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Create technical documentation and patent innovations in quantum computing
- Mentor junior engineers and stay current with quantum research breakthroughs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or advanced R&D
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, error correction, and circuit design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel systems
- Published research in quantum computing or peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and innovative mindset
