Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Lead quantum algorithm development focusing on error correction and optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical systems
- Develop roadmaps for quantum hardware evolution targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Conduct research on quantum supremacy applications in finance, logistics, and AI
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and establish best practices for quantum software development
- Secure patents and publish breakthrough research in leading scientific journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction protocols
- Deep knowledge of quantum hardware platforms including superconducting qubits and ion traps
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and quantum-specific languages like Q#
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Track record of leading complex technical projects from concept to deployment
