Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum circuits for complex computational problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Research and implement error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Create quantum algorithm blueprints for cryptography and AI optimization
- Establish performance benchmarks and scalability metrics
- Partner with industry leaders to define quantum computing roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Expertise in machine learning and classical computing optimization
