Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with physicists to overcome quantum coherence and error correction challenges
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing systems
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen data protection
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams in quantum software development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or industrial implementation
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and gate-level optimization
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum error correction codes (surface codes, LDPC)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
