Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise and research applications
- Develop error-correction protocols and quantum circuit optimization strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Research and prototype novel quantum algorithms for machine learning and cryptography
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum processors with classical infrastructure
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant encryption standards
- Present breakthrough research at international quantum technology symposia
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance computing
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in cryptography and cybersecurity principles
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level systems programming
