Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum circuits using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Develop error-correction protocols for 100+ qubit systems
- Partner with Intel and Google to integrate quantum accelerators into cloud infrastructure
- Secure patents for novel quantum-resistant cryptographic methods
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real quantum hardware
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubit manipulation
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with quantum machine learning frameworks (e.g., PennyLane)
- Security clearance for classified quantum projects (preferred)
