Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing systems using Qiskit and IBM Quantum Experience platforms
- Design error-corrected quantum circuits for NISQ and fault-tolerant devices
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography implementations
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech researchers on quantum supremacy milestones
- Generate patentable innovations in quantum error correction methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency with quantum simulation tools (Qiskit Aer, Cirq Simulator)
- Experience with superconducting and trapped-ion quantum processors
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence mitigation
