Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Lead prototyping of fault-tolerant qubit systems using superconducting and topological approaches
- Develop quantum error correction algorithms for industrial-scale deployment
- Collaborate with cross-quantum teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Research novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Secure $10M+ in government and private quantum funding initiatives
- Mentor quantum engineering talent through our Quantum Academy program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Track record of leading quantum computing projects with measurable impact
