Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead prototyping of superconducting qubit architectures
- Collaborate with AI teams on hybrid quantum-classical models
- Publish research in Nature/IEEE journals and present at QIP conferences
- Secure $5M+ in NSF grants for quantum supremacy projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering or superconducting circuits
- Experience with quantum annealing hardware (D-Wave, Rigetti)
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with high-performance computing skills
