Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead a cross-functional team of physicists, engineers, and computer scientists
- Collaborate with hardware teams to overcome quantum decoherence challenges
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Secure and manage research partnerships with leading academic institutions
- Translate theoretical quantum models into practical business applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 8+ years of research experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum journals
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience securing $5M+ in government or industry research funding
- Strong leadership skills with 5+ years managing research teams
